Programs & Services

Off-Campus Student Services offers an array of programs and services to support living on your own.

Buy/For Sale Board

The InfoToo desk no longer approves flyers for the Buy/For Sale board. If you would like to post a flyer on the board, please see the Campus Information Center on the main level of the Lory Student Center.

Ride Board

Have a car and don't mind sharing? Need a ride somewhere? If you have a car and are going on a trip, or you don't have a car and need a ride somewhere, come check out our Ride Board! The Ride Board is located in the main level of the Lory Student Center across from the Sunken Lounge. It gives you the opportunity to match up with people that are going to the same place you are. Carpooling saves gas and saves you money by splitting the costs!

Semester Locker Rentals

Heavy books? Don’t want to lug your stuff around all day, everyday? Come rent a locker for a semester or more in the Lory Student Center at Off-Campus Student Services for only $10 plus a $5 damage deposit! You can access your locker anytime during our normal business hours Monday through Friday and selected weekend hours.

Roommate Roundup

Roommate Roundup

This program is designed to bring together people who have places and are looking for roommates as well as people who need a place and want to be someone's roommate. At the Roommate Roundup, OCSS/RAL staff present a quick overview of the services we provide through our office and talk about good roommating practices. Potential roommates then have the opportunity to introduce themselves.

Great Sofa Round-Up

This collaborative event betweeen CSU and the City of Fort collins aims to help students and neighbors get rid of unwanted furniture. It also gives people in need access to free sofas. By getting the sofas to the people that need them, fewer abandoned sofas end up in alleyways, streets and rooftops.

Housing Fair

The Housing Fair is an annual event which takes place every spring semester. It is an opportunity for students to do one-stop shopping for a place to live during the summer or fall. We have all sorts of local businesses attend; including property management companies, apartment complexes, private landlords, realtors, community resources, and more!

Residence Hall Presentations

Check with your residence hall front desk for specific dates and times

In February OCSS/RAL staff travel to each of the residence halls to talk about the pros and cons of living off campus. Budgeting, a guide to renting, tenants rights and responsibilities, and City ordinances are covered. A great event for first-time renters!

Stop Paying Rent! Learn how to buy a house! Topics of the class include:

We promise no high pressure sales tactics, just information for you to get started in buying real estate. Registration is required. There is a fee for the class. Call 491-2248 for more information. Click here for our event calendar and to find our next series.

Is Your Pet Licensed in Larimer County? It should be!

Don’t know where to go to license your pet? Go no further than campus! Off-Campus Student Services offers a pet licensing service. All you need is proof of rabies vaccination and your checkbook. You do the paperwork here, and we do the rest! All fees go to the Larimer Humane Society.

Dog and cat licenses are required for residents of Fort Collins and Loveland, and Dog licenses are required for residents of unincorporated Larimer County and the town of Timnath. Residents of Berthoud, Wellington and Estes Park should contact their local city hall to determine if licenses are required.

Off-Campus Student Services is located in the main level of the Lory Student Center, room 195. For more information, stop by or call 491-2248.
