Party Smart

Tips on how to throw a safe party:

Notify your neighbors- Before the night of the party, go over and speak with your neighbors. Let them know that you are going to have a party and give them the contact information of the sober host of your party.

Party Size- Keep the party within reason. Dont let it get out of your hands. If the party does get out of control, you can always call the police non-emergency number.

Know your guests.

Consider the risks- Is beer pong worth having at your party? Are the health concerns associated with beer pong an issue? Beer pong is known to spread disease and sickness. As a party host, you must take the health risks into account. If you do decide to have beer pong at your party, consider using new cups for each game, sterilize the ball each turn, and dont let the ball fall onto the floor. It is suggested that you, as the party host, do not include beer pong at your party.

Keep your party inside, or at least keep the noise inside.

Have food available for guests.

"Clean up by sun up."

Complete a Party Checklist.
