Center for Advising and Student Achievement
The Center offers information on registering or applying to CSU, orientation programs, tips on
academic success, ways to get involved on campus, advising for intra-university majors and
probationary students, and processing university withdrawals, and much more.

Learning Assistance Center
If you have academic difficulties and want to get some individualized help, then contact the
Learning Assistance Center. The Center can help you implement new techniques in areas such as
textbook reading, note taking, time management and test preparation. Assessment for learning
disabilities is also available. Located in the General Services Building, Rm. 104

Science and Mathematics Tutorial Hall
The College of Natural Sciences offers free tutoring on a walk-in basis to students enrolled in
science and math courses (ie. chemistry, physics, statistics, zoology, biology, calculus and psychology).
Be sure to bring your CSU I.D. Located in the basement of Ingersoll Hall, Rm. 9

Test Files
Looking to improve your chances for a better grade? Then go to the Test Files! Tests from all types
of courses and professors are available for you to copy and use as study aids. Located across from the Sunken Lounge,
in the Lory Student Center, main level.

Writing Center
A free tutoring service offering assistance with any type of writing task. Experienced staff can help you
generate ideas, learn grammar and punctuation, be a better proof-reader/editor, and much more. You can even
send your writing electronically via e-mail for feedback!
